An analysis of the nature of businessmen in Tales of a Thousand and One Nights and Sanyan and Erpai

Abstract

Although Tales of a Thousand and One Nights and Sanyan and Erpai were produced in different countries, they produced the image of businessmen. The images of businessmen produced by the two works had the tendency of pursuing profit, money and sex, which reflects the common characteristics of citizen literature.
